Citizens National Bank Deposits Case Study

THE CLIENT
Citizens National Bank was established in 1973 and currently serves customers from branch locations across Sevier, Jefferson, Hamblen and Knox counties in Tennessee.

THE CHALLENGE
The bank recognized that it had a problem: Some of its customers had a relationship with the bank, but no deposit account. These were customers who had the potential to expand their relationship, so Citizens National Bank wanted to reach out to them with checking account information that would capture attention.

THE SOLUTION
We worked with the bank to develop a campaign with eye-catching, on-brand graphics to be used cohesively across both print and digital collateral. Through email, postcards, posters and more, Citizens National Bank was able to make sure its message was heard.

THE RESULTS
With over 1,500 customers reached, the bank not only helped customers open new demand deposit accounts but also saw additional accounts open as an indirect response to the campaign.

17 demand deposit accounts with a total balance of $78,845
32 indirect deposits (savings, CDs, etc.) with a total balance of $3,812,563
5 indirect loan sales for a total of $646,206
32 indirect additional service sales (e-statements, internet banking, etc.)
