BANK AND CREDIT UNION MARKETING at the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference

CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference

For the fifth consecutive year, was a sponsor of the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference in Anaheim, CA, from March 20-23, which offers credit unions and marketing professionals the chance to network, attend sessions and participate in discussions regarding credit union marketing and business development.

This year’s conference was one of the best we’ve had the privilege to be a part of;’ Sales Director Kelly Hellickson and Account Executive Bryan Reichling were the lucky team who flew to Anaheim for the event. We were pleased to receive a plaque from the CUNA Council honoring our fifth year as an event sponsor.

Marketing Automation, Onboarding and Millennial Marketing were hot topics of conversation everywhere we went. All of these products are popular and growing at, so it was a great chance to come together with other marketing and credit union professionals to discuss trends, predictions and analysis.

We were able to attend sessions focused on other key issues, including member loyalty, targeting demographics, branding and strategic development. The conference is such a good opportunity to see what the industry focus is on a national level so we can better tailor our services exactly to our clients’ needs.

We had the chance to speak with many people while exhibiting, at lunches and during the off-site networking dinner we hosted. Most of the CUNA Executive Committee members were able to attend our dinner, and it was so nice to see both clients and hopeful clients mingling and enjoying themselves after days of hard work.

Another highlight was listening to a presentation by Hilary Reed, director of her own consulting firm, Empower Strategic Solutions, which provides marketing and sales tools to credit unions to engage staff and drive strategic growth.

Hilary said, “I was so honored to speak at this year's CUNA Marketing conference on the topic of strategic marketing planning. With the amount of data that we have at our fingertips these days, it's so important to use the data to our advantage – that's where marketing strategy comes in.”
