Employee Spotlight: Michelle Albrecht

Every marketing vision needs an executor. Whether it’s yourself or someone you trust to carry out what you see in your head, the final product needs to POP in order to capture the attention of your patients and prospects and outshine your competitors. At, Michelle Albrecht is one of our trusted, most experienced designers. In our eyes, and surely in the eyes of her clients as well, Michelle knocks her designs out of the park every time! And when she’s not glued to her screen, creating your next marketing piece, Michelle loves to be outside. Kayaking, gardening, reading, swimming and “foodie” activities are just some of her non-work-related hobbies.

Describe what you do on a day-to-day basis.
I help support a team of 14 designers, and my day can really vary depending on what situations pop up. I also serve as the lead designer for my own clients and design many of our internal marketing pieces. So, day to day it’s an interesting mix of management tasks and design work.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love to get lost in designing a piece. When I’m really pleased with a design, it’s a great feeling, and it’s even better when my client is happy with it too!

How has helped you grow?
I’ve seen a lot of changes as we’ve grown. This has helped me develop my skills as a designer and art director and not get stuck in a routine. I continually see opportunities to learn new things and improve myself and, and that’s really exciting after 14 years at the same company!

Where is your favorite place to travel in Wisconsin?
Lake Michigan, Kohler-Andrae State Park, “Up North” to Hills Lake, Lake Ripley near my house. Pretty much any lake! :)

What do you think is the most admirable characteristic a person can or should have?
Kindness. Kind hands, kind words, kind heart.

What is your biggest achievement to date?
My family. My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary, and we have two amazing boys.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome in your life?
Navigating parenthood has been my biggest challenge. Having kids has definitely affected my perspective on life and made me appreciate being in the moment because things sure do change quickly! Like Ferris Bueller said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
