Client Spotlight - Tammy Harrigan of SeaComm Federal Credit Union

Pocket calendars. Game boards. Singing cards. Exploding mailers. These are just a few of the out-of-the-box projects we’ve completed for Tammy Harrigan at SeaComm Federal Credit Union over the years, and we can’t wait to see what kind of inspired, groundbreaking project she dreams up next!

In the nine years that we’ve been working with Tammy (who holds the title of Vice President of Marketing and Communications at SeaComm), we’ve come to view her as a true visionary in the industry. She continually comes to us with ideas that stretch our creative limits, broaden our horizons, and ultimately result in showcase pieces. It’s interesting to note, then, that despite Tammy’s natural marketing abilities, her path to financial marketing was actually fortuitous rather than intentional. As she explains: “I started my career in the financial sector, specifically credit unions, as a teller 36 years ago. At that time, I was fresh out of high school and simply needed a job.”

Over time, Tammy’s interest in and respect for the credit union movement grew, and eventually she found herself in the marketing role she holds today – a position that seems perfectly suited to her unique talents. However, it was a change that came with its fair share of challenges, as Tammy quickly realized she would require professional assistance if she were to succeed in bringing her ideas to life. That’s when she called on image.works.

“At the time of accepting the marketing position at SeaComm, I was a one-woman department,” Tammy recalls, “and was looking to implement a new program that I knew would take me beyond the realm of what I could handle in-house.”

Thankfully, image.works was there to offer the creative and logistical assistance Tammy needed. “SeaComm has benefited through quality workmanship and exceptional client support at all levels,” says Tammy about the perks of working with image.works. “[They have] new and fresh visuals that stand out. I enjoy the thinking-out-of-the-box mentality, and they are always open to my crazy ideas. They have never failed me.”

Today, Tammy is no longer the one-woman marketing department she once was, but her relationship with image.works still continues. “I have four other staff members in marketing and business development, which allows us to handle a larger amount of creatives,” Tammy explains. “However, image.works remains my ‘go-to team.’”

We are immensely grateful for the ongoing opportunity to collaborate with Tammy on her marketing projects, and our feelings regarding our partnership closely echo Tammy’s own sentiments about working in financial services: “I have found my career to be fun, fulfilling and challenging,” she says. “It has been a wonderful journey.”

Tammy, we thank you for including us on your journey, and we hope to work alongside you for many more years to come. We eagerly anticipate partnering with you on whatever brilliant idea strikes you next!
